Mother's Day
A mother is the first teacher and the first friend of her children. She carries her child in her womb for nine months and nurtures her little one with all her heart and soul. She can decipher every gesture of her children since the time they are born. Mother is the only person who knows her child the best. She loves her children unconditionally and guides them on the right path in life. She takes care of her children and ensures their safety in each and every way possible. We celebrate Mother's day to thank our mothers, expressing our gratitude and love for them. The celebration of mother's day was first started in the country of Greece, and now it is celebrated in every part of the world. Every mother is devoted to her child throughout her life. Measuring the depth of a mother's sacrifice is not possible for anyone to do. Also, we can never repay the priceless efforts made by our mothers. Being a child, it is our duty to take care of our mothers with love and respect. Mother's day is celebrated to shower our love on the mothers. Everyday should be celebrated as mother's day because they deserve it. But, it is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May. Being a mother is the toughest and roughest job but still they never get paid. They work from dawn till dusk for her child's success and well-being. We should imbibe these special values from our mother. Because these values are not taught in any school or college. For me, the full form of M.O.T.H.E.R is as follows :
M - Magnanimous
O - Optimistic
T - Talented
H - Harmonious
E - Empathetic
R - Respectable
Mother is the only person who teaches us that how to make a lemonade out of the lemons thrown at us. On this mother's day we all should give salute to our mothers for their efforts, love and blessings. I am on cloud nine that I have such a caring and loving mother. " What's a life if full of care when there is no time to stand and stare " - W.H Davies, so let's take out some time to make this mother's day a special one. At the end I would say that always respect your mother because she is your philosopher, guide and the best friend you could ever make.
